Arsenal defeated Napoli in Italy to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League in style.

With a two goal lead from the first leg, Arsenal knew that an away goal would likely take them through and Alexandre Lacazette scored a fine free-kick to put them ahead on the night.

The Frenchman was upended by Piotr Zieliński on the edge of the box and immediately indicated that he wanted to take the set-piece himself. He then whipped a powerful shot around the wall and into the top corner of the goal.

Napoli poured forward in the second-half in an attempt to score a consolation goal, but Arsenal’s defence held firm to register an impressive 3-0 aggregate victory.

Arsenal will now play Valencia for a place in the Europa League final.
