Mohamed Salah scored a wonderful goal to put Liverpool two up in Salzburg and send the defending European champions into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Liverpool and Salzburg played out an entertaining but goalless opening half before Naby Keita broke the deadlock with a fine goal. And Salah then made it two with an outrageous finish.

Racing onto a poor Jérôme Onguéné header, Salah was forced out wide after a heavy first touch.

Yet Salah then found an incredibly narrow angle to goal, curling his effort around Cican Stanković from twenty yards.
