The 24-year-old moved to Old Trafford in the summer for a record-breaking £89m, making him the most expensive player in history.
Pogba has scored seven goals and provided four assists this season so far - but some observers have been left disappointed by the player’s start to life in the Premier League.
However, the Frenchman has insisted he is satisfied with his “job on the pitch” and hit back against those critics who expected him to “score goals because of the mountain of the transfer”.
Speaking ahead of United’s Europa League quarter-final tie with Anderlecht on Thursday night, Pogba said he is now remains focused on securing Champions League football for the side.
"I feel great,” he said. “We won two trophies, I want to do better. You can always do better.
"I came to Man United to play in the Champions League. We have to get back to it, that's the big one.
"People judge me for not scoring goals, if I scored more they wouldn't talk. I'm doing a job on the pitch.
"They want me to score goals because of the mountain of the transfer. My job is to be a midfielder, to make assists.
"Forget about the transfer fee. It's in the past. I'm thinking about doing good for the team and that's it.
"When I am on the pitch I am serious and I want to win.
"I love life. I love to dance. It doesn't affect me on the pitch to be honest."
Pogba is set to star in Thursday’s clash with Anderlecht but the side have travelled to Brussels without captain Wayne Rooney whose fitness remains in doubt after recently recovering from ankle issues.
