Manchester City destroyed Schalke at the Etihad Stadium as Pep Guardiola’s side cruised into the quarter-finals.

Sergio Aguero got the goals up and running with cheeky penalty, before VAR confirmed that Raheem Sterling was onside teeing up his second.

Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus all got involved in some beautiful goal-scoring as Phil Foden and Sterling also joined in.

By the final whistle, City had scored seven on the night without replay, returning a 10-2 aggregate victory over their German visitors.
