Jurgen Klopp has selected Georginio Wijnaldum to start ahead of James Milner in Liverpool’s midfield for the Champions League final against Tottenham.

Wijnaldum scored twice against Barcelona coming off the bench as Liverpool pulled off a remarkable turnaround in the semi-finals, and starts alongside Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in the centre of the pitch.

As expected, Roberto Firmino has recovered from injury to start in Liverpool’s favoured front three with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a surprise inclusion on the substitute’s bench after missing most of the campaign with a knee injury.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane starts for Spurs, despite not having played since the quarter-finals.
