Liverpool 4 Dortmund 3: How does brilliant turnaround rank in club's history of comebacks?
It was another one of those 'great European nights' at Anfield

Liverpool’s dramatic late win over Borussia Dortmund will go down in the annals as one of the club’s greatest comebacks.
Dejan Lovren’s header in stoppage time not only sealed a place in the Europa League semi-finals but also an incredible turnaround.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus’ goals had seemed to have booked Dortmund’s spot in the last four, especially when, with the aggregate score at 4-2, two-thirds of the game had elapsed.
Philippe Coutinho, Mamadou Sakho and Lovren, however, had different ideas and each scored over the course of the remaining minutes to send Anfield into hysterics.
Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, could barely fathom his team’s comeback, even though he had evoked the club’s most memorable night when attempting to gee up his players at half-time.
"I told the lads, 'I was not there but a few older Liverpool players, most of them now experts on television, were 3-0 down at half-time and won a Champions League final,” he said. “So, even though it is not likely, it is possible. We should try it'. And they did.”
So, how does last night compare to some of Liverpool’s most memorable comebacks?
