Sergio Ramos insists Real Madrid don't fear Mohamed Salah ahead of the Champions League final.

Holders Real are back for a third consecutive final after seeing off Bayern Munich over two cagey legs and will meet Liverpool after they outlasted Roma in a thrilling semi-final.

Salah has been a revelation since arriving from Serie A this summer scoring 43 goals in all competitions as Jurgen Klopp's side reached their first Champions League final since 2007.

But Ramos, a veteran of three of Real's 12 wins, isn't worried having tested himself against the very best throughout his career.

"We have seen what Salah can do this season, but he will just be one of 11 players we face against Liverpool," he told the Daily Mirror. "Throughout my career, I have faced the best forward players in the world - many of them who are considered among the greatest ever.

"For me, there is never a fear. A respect, yes, but never a fear."

That goes against what Dejan Lovren thinks with the defender of the belief they should be wary of the dangers his team present.

Jurgen Klopp's side are the competition's top scorers with 40 goals and Lovren thinks Real, who were pictured with T-shirts speculating about a potential 13th success after knocking out Bayern Munich, will be wary of their firepower.

"They are quite confident but we don't care for that, we are focused on our job," he said. "Why should we fear them? They should fear us."

Team-mate Sadio Mane echoed those thoughts by stressing they are capable of taking on anyone and winning, as evidenced by their two victories over Pep Guardiola's all-conquering Manchester City side in the quarter-final.

"We do have a lot of respect for Madrid, they are one of the best teams in the world, but we are Liverpool - we are strong, we can beat any team in the world," he added. "We believe that so we believe we can go there and beat them.

"We know we are going to go there to fight - for the fans, for the club. Fight without fear - and win the final. We have the players. We can score goals, we have shown that, and there is nothing to be afraid of for us."
