At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference.Terek Grozny lost their Russian Premier League game to FC Ufa on Sunday - and there is absolutely no doubt as to who is to blame.
Step forward Evgeniy Gorodov.
The goalkeeper made a shocker of a mistake during the top-flight game at the Dynamo Stadium to allow Ufa to score the only goal of the game.
It came from a poorly directed pass from Nikolai Safronidi, with the Ufa midfielder's over hit cross heading straight to the goalkeeper. All Gorodov had to do was catch it.
Yet somehow the 30-year-old, who is the club's understudy to the number one, could only push the ball into his own net.
Watch the gaffe above.
In addition to the embarrassment for Gorodov, the defeat to lowly Ufa also meant Terek Grozny missed out on the opportunity to close the gap on the four teams above them in the division.
