Fernando Llorente put Tottenham back in charge against Manchester City in their wild Champions League quarter-final second leg, with the help of a check from VAR.

In what might be one of the most high-profile and crucial moments in the history of VAR, the Turkish referee went to a screen on the side of the pitch to check whether or not the ball had come off Llorente's arm.

The slow-motion video replay appeared to show the ball may have grazed Llorente's arm on the way through to striking his hip, before diverting into the net past Ederson.
