● Tottenham qualified for the Europa League after finishing fifth in the Premier League. Mauriccio Pochettino's side are in Pot 1

● Liverpool qualified after finishing sixth last season. Brendan Rodgers' team are in Pot 2

● Celtic are in the tournament after losing their Champions League play-off tie. The Scottish champions are in Pot 2

● Southampton were knocked out in the final preliminary knock-out rounds by Norwegian outfit Midtjylland
