From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. All is not going as swimmingly as Jose Mourinho would like in his first season as Internazionale manager. It started well with the former Chelsea boss leading his team to the top of Serie A and making serene progress in the Champions League.
However, cracks have appeared with Mourinho suggesting he would, at some point, like to return to England to manage. He has also been critical of some of the media coverage he has received in Italy. His side have lost top spot to Milan and could only draw with Famagusta in the Champions League. Inter and Udinese, who are tied for second a point behind Milan, meet at the San Siro tomorrow. Inter edged out a 3-2 victory over lowly Reggina last week thanks to an injury-time goal after having drawn their previous two league matches.
Udinese have the best attack in the league with 19 goals and the joint-best defense alongside Milan and Juventus, with just seven goals conceded.
Juve have also had a difficult start to the season but are coming into tomorrow's game against Chievo Verona on a five-game winning streak that includes three league victories and two Champions League wins over Real Madrid.
