The latest edition of the Champions League is already under way, with five British sides having qualified for the competition's group stages.

So, to celebrate the return of European football’s premier competition, we decided to see how well our readership knows some of its greatest goals.

Steven Gerrard’s thunderbolt against Olympiakos, Andres Iniesta’s strike to sink Chelsea and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s winner at the Nou Camp were all ‘unforgettable’, but how much do you really remember about them?

As for the competition itself, Arsenal will be pleased with their start, having taken a valuable point away from home at fellow heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsene Wenger's side were second-best for much of the evening but, thanks to the hosts' wasteful finishing and an Alexis Sanchez strike, they managed to salvage a draw.

Celtic were made to suffer by Barcelona, the tournament's favourites. A seven-goal shellacking at the Nou Camp humiliated Brendan Rodgers' side, but could they have suspected much else?
