Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. It is the final round of fixtures in this year's Champions League group stage.
A number of places in the last-16 are already up for grabs, with Liverpool, most notably, needing a win to qualify for the knockout stages, while Arsenal are already assured progression but they could still top their Group D.
Here's what could happen tonight in Group A to D of the Champions League.
GROUP A
Atletico Madrid: Already through, they will top the group with a draw. Could even suffer a 1-0 defeat to Juventus and will still be top.
Juventus: Only need a point to go through, though a win by two clear goals will see them top the group.
Olympiacos: Greek side need Juventus to lose to Atletico and to beat Malmo. A draw will see them in the Europa League.
Malmo: Will qualify for the Europa League with a win in Greece.
GROUP B
Real Madrid: Already qualified as group winners.
Basel: Need only a point to guarantee a place in the last-16.
Liverpool: Facing a must-win game at home to Basel, while a draw will send them to the Europa League.
Ludogorets: Eliminated from the Champions League, but a win against Real Madrid will guarantee a place in the Europa League. A draw will be enough if Liverpool lose to Basel.
GROUP C
Bayer Leverkusen: Already qualified, but need to beat Benfica to guarantee top spot
Monaco: Need just a draw with Zenit to progress, while a draw will be enough to top the group if Leverkusen lose. If they win and Leverkusen draw they will also top the group.
Zenit St Petersburg: Must beat Monaco to qualify, could top the group if Leverkusen lose to Benfica.
Benfica: Out of contention.
GROUP D
Borussia Dortmund: Qualified and need a point to secure top spot.
Arsenal: Assured a place in the last-16, will top the group if they beat Galatasaray and Dortmund lose to Anderlecht.
Anderlecht: Confirmed a place in the Europa League
Galatasaray: Out of contention.
