From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

BT Sport will broadcast every Bundesliga match live for the remainder of the season, it has been announced.

Germany’s top division will become the first of Europe’s five major leagues to return to the field in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic this weekend.

And BT have committed to showing every game, beginning with nine matches starting on Saturday.

BT Sport 1, 2 and 3 will carry the matches with at least one match per weekend being available in 4K UHD.

Borussia Dortmund and Schalke kick things off on Saturday afternoon while reigning champions Bayern Munich face Union Berlin on Sunday evening.

Regular presenters James Richardson and Lynsey Hipgrave will front the coverage with a mix of input from both in-studio and from home from a range of pundits.

Head of BT Sport Simon Green says: “It is great news for BT Sport customers that this weekend our customers will be able to watch live football.

“With the Bundesliga set to return on Saturday, we’re looking forward to bringing customers nine live football matches, including six live matches on Saturday afternoon, plus highlights, feature programmes and analysis.”
