The swansong of the "divine ponytail" has been to help unfashionable Brescia to become established in the top flight and in that role he has a chance to dent Milan's title ambitions tomorrow afternoon.
Brescia take on Carlo Ancelotti's side at a moment when the leaders, Roma, are judged to be vulnerable despite a three-point advantage. Fabio Capello's team look to have lost some of their early-season verve and Milan fancy Sampdoria could pull off an upset in the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow. If Milan can overcome Baggio and company in Brescia's Stadio Rigamonti, the gap will be closed. However, Brescia are in fine form at the moment, having won at Lazio in their last game to go 10th and Baggio will undoubtedly be fired up for the meeting with one of his former clubs.
Should Baggio inspire a Brescia triumph, then Juventus could be beneficiaries. The Turin side, level on points with Milan, are at home to struggling Siena.
