The Nerazzurri confirmed Young is the sixth player in the squad to contract coronavirus.
The news appears to rule the former Manchester United star out of the Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan on 17 October.
“FC Internazionale Milano announce that Ashley Young tested positive for COVID-19 following the tests carried out yesterday at Appiano Gentile,” read an official statement.
“The English player is already in quarantine at home.”
Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, Radja Nainggolan, Roberto Gagliardini and Ionut Radu have already contracted the virus.
