Follow the Carabao Cup fourth-round draw following the conclusion of the third-round fixtures
Carabao Cup holders Liverpool will face Premier League champions Manchester City in the fourth round, with the match set to be played within days of the World Cup final.
Liverpool won last season’s tournament by beating Chelsea on penalties, ending a run of four years in a row in which Pep Guardiola’s side lifted the Carabao Cup trophy.
City and Liverpool played out a fractious clash at Anfield earlier this season following last campaign’s title battle and their latest meeting was the pick of the fourth-round ties.
Elesewhere, Newcastle drew Bournemouth at home while Manchester United will play Vincent Kompany’s Burnley. Gillingham, the lowest ranked team still in the draw, will play Wolves away from home in what will be Julen Lopetegui’s first match in charge.
The next stage of the competition takes place following the World Cup final and before the return of the Premier League - on December 20 and 21.

Pope is widely expected to be included in Southgate’s squad when it is announced on Thursday, and his performance will not have gone unnoticed after he also produced a fine first-half stop to deny Mateta.
