Brighton 1-1 Sheffield United: The Seagulls drew with the Blades in a Premier League encounter
It’s now a run of six Premier League matches without a win for Brighton who were held to a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United at the Amex Community Stadium this afternoon.
The Seagulls started the match eighth in the table and looked set to collect all three points after they stuttered through October. Simon Adringa’s goal six minutes into the game gave them the early and things stayed that way until the second half. Mahmoud Dahoud was shown a red card for the hosts and sent them down to 10-men.
Sheffield United netted five minutes later through an Adam Webster own goal but couldn’t press their advantage to claim a win.

GOOD SAVE! After loose possession, Brighton look to quickly counter. Fati swiftly finds Mitoma on the left. The latter skips away from a challenge and gets a shot away from a tight angle, but Foderingham turns it behind for a corner.

ALMOST! Gross sends a deep corner towards the far post, where Van Hecke arrives. The centre-half nods the ball into the ground, but it bounces up and over the crossbar.
