Arsenal resume their Europa League campaign tonight against Sporting Lisbon in the last-16.

The Gunners topped Group A ahead of PSV Eindhoven to qualify for the last-16 and now face a Sporting side who dropped down from the Champions League, where they lost out to Tottenham.

Arsenal are in the midst of a Premier League title challenge with Mikel Arteta’s side five points clear of Manchester City in the table following Saturday’s thrilling 3-2 win against Bournemouth.

With just 12 games of the league season remaining, the Europa League could prove to be a distraction as the Gunners target their first title since 2004.

Here’s everything you need to know:

When is Sporting vs Arsenal?

The match will kick off at 5:45pm BST on Thursday 9 March.

Is it on TV and will there be a live stream?

It will be shown live on BT Sport 2, with coverage starting from 5:15pm. BT Sport customers can also stream the match live on the BT Sport website and mobile app.

What is the Arsenal team news?

Gabriel Jesus has returned to training and is getting close to a return, but this may come too soon. Given their position in the Premier League, Mikel Arteta is likely to make changes ahead of Sunday’s trip to Fulham. Emile Smith Rowe and Matt Turner could start but Kieran Tierney is a doubt. Leandro Trossard went off during the win against Bournemouth with an injury and is unlikely to feature - as is Eddie Nketiah, who was unavailable on Saturday.
