This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering City, who also won the Champions League and FA Cup last season, will have to see off Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and the rest to claim an unprecedented sixth league title in seven years.
Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Mbeumo stayed down for a few seconds after a bit of a clash with Bournemouth skipper Smith, but he is good to continue.

Miss! Kluivert plays a nice through ball into Semenyo's path inside the box, but the latter's shot at the near post is wayward and misses the target comfortably.

Good defending from Kelly to clear a Bees move, but Mbeumo was anyway offside down the right.

Another shot from outside the box. Ouattara was in a good position to take that chance but hits it straight down Flekken's throat.

SAVE! At the other end, Toney swipes at one from long range and Travers is forced to make a good save diving to his right.

And just when I say that, Semenyo gets one in the middle just outside the box and smashes one. A good strike, not too far from the cross bar.

Semenyo is just not being allowed to do much after getting the ball. This time Lewis-Potter does well to combine wth Reguilon and get the ball back for the Bees.

Kelly does well to chest down a decent Brentford cross from the left and Travers collects comfortably. Bournemouth slowly seem to be finding their feet in this one.
