Arsenal's O'Leary and Linighan are on standby for suspended central defender Bould. Jensen is fit, but Wright stands down. Ward is ready to replace striker Bradshaw, who is United's main worry with a dead leg complication.
Blackburn Rovers v Wimbledon
Blackburn's Wegerle replaces Shearer, absent after knee trouble Also in the squad is Swedish international defender Andersson. Wimbledon pair Barton and Holdsworth are still injured, but Elkins returns at left-back.
Chelsea v Manchester City
Wise remains absent for Chelsea after a training injury. With Hall still suspended, the squad is unchanged. Injury-hit City signed former defender Ranson, 32, on- loan from Newcastle to stand in for Brightwell. This is Ranson's first City appearance since 1984.
Coventry City v Nottingham Forest
On-loan left-back Rowland is named in the Coventry squad and Ogrizovic will be in goal. Forest manager Clough has named a 15-man squad with no serious injury worries. Black (foot) is the only absentee.
Crystal Palace v Everton
Watts, who scored in each of his two Coca-Cola Cup appearances for Crystal Palace, is likely to make way for Armstrong. Shaw, Osborn and Southgate are still unavailable. Cottee is omitted and Everton are likely to be unchanged.
Ipswich Town v Oldham Athletic
Wark is back in training after a groin problem, with Ipswich likely to be unchanged. Bulgarian striker Guentchev plays. Struggling Oldham call up former Manchester City defender Redmond and Tolson, 19, a pounds 150,000 buy from Watford.
Leeds United v Southampton
Batty starts a two-match ban for Leeds, one win in seven. The champions could turn to midfielder Sellars and switch Speed to central midfield. Wallace and Whyte are also in contention. Banger hopes his four goals for Southampton reserves in midweek will earn him a place.
Liverpool v Aston Villa
Rush has pulled out of the Liverpool squad with a groin strain. Rosenthal is likely to replace him. McManaman faces a test. Villa full-back Staunton has recovered from concussion and Atkinson is likely to play, despite a stomach injury.
Manchester United v Tottenham
Ince (groin) and Giggs (foot) are fit and replace Phelan and Gillespie respectively in United's squad. Spurs winger Moran has flu and Durie is also still out. Barmby, 18, continues in his place. Cundy could be out for a month after a knee operation.
Middlesbrough v QPR
Middlesbrough manager Lawrence still has to decide on his team, but hopes to improve on a 3-3 draw in September at Loftus Road. Holloway (virus) faces a test for Queen's Park Rangers. Impey and Maddix are in a 16-strong squad.
TOMORROW
Sheffield Wed v Norwich City
Warhurst returns to the Wednesday squad after three weeks absence with a hamstring strain, disputing a place with Anderson and Shirtliff. Norwich's Sutton (flu) and Ruel Fox (ankle) have an extra day to recover. Left-back Bowen is fit.
