Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Coventry v Manchester City Tracey, on loan from Sheffield United, is in Manchester City's goal because Coton is injured as Dibble starts his three-match suspension. Edgehill is also suspended so Hill comes in at right-back. Ndlovu is expected to make his first Premiership start of the season for Coventry.

Everton v Arsenal Limpar is set for a recall against his former club after being dropped six weeks ago. Samways is doubtful with a back injury, while Burrows and Watson will face late fitness tests. Davis returns to the Arsenal squad after missing the last five games.

Ipswich Town v Liverpool Wark, Ipswich's player-coach, misses a re-match with his former club but Stockwell returns after a seven-match absence. Vaughan is set to make his home debut at left-back. Molby is fit again but Liverpool may prefer to name an unchanged side.

Leicester v Crystal Palace Patterson returns to Palace's squad after a three-match suspension but Palace are expected to name an unchanged team. Leicester keep the side that lost to Leeds on Monday.

Man Utd v Newcastle Cole could be out for a month with a shin injury but Lee should be back after missing four matches. Fox has a late fitness test. Neville could appear at right-back for the champions. Giggs and Sharpe are definitely out.

Nottm Forest v Blackburn Lee is called up by Forest to replace Collymore. Blackburn's captain, Sherwood, is likely to return after completing a three-match ban.

QPR v Aston Villa Hodge makes his QPR debut after his transfer from Leeds against one of his former clubs. Dichio keeps his place in the squad after his midweek debut.

Villa's striker Whittingham is out with an ankle injury.

Sheffield Wed v Chelsea Bart-Williams is likely to stay as partner for Bright in place of Hirst for Wednesday. Chelsea, reduced to 13 fit men, have Shipperley as their only recognised striker.

Southampton v Leeds Defender Charlton, dropped in midweek, should return. Winger Heaney should also start after coming on as substitute. Grobbelaar will continue in his protective multi-coloured face mask. Leeds may keep the same side for the fourth game in succession.

Tottenham v West Ham Ossie Ardiles relies on the players that lost to Notts County plus defender Carr, an Irish Under-21 international who could play if Austin fails a fitness test. Moncur is still out with a virus infection. West Ham seem certain to field an unchanged side.

TOMORROW Wimbledon v Norwich Norwich have Eadie, Newsome and Robins on the sick list. Norwegian midfielder Leonhardsen may make his Wimbledon debut. Holdsworth is out, as are defenders Kimble, McAllister and Blackwell.
