PELE'S place at the World Cup draw, in Las Vegas on Sunday, is in doubt because he is being sued for defamation by Ricardo Teixeira, the president of the Brazilian football confederation and the son-in-law of Fifa's president, Joao Havelange, after allegations that the confederation has been corrupt in its handling of television rights.
