Miguel Indurain, three times winner of the Tour de France, yesterday was presented with France's highest distinction, The Legion of Honour. Francois Mitterrand, the President of France, bestowed the medal on Indurain in the French embassy in Madrid. Indurain is the first Spainish athlete and the third cyclist to be so honoured.
