Your support makes all the difference.Andy Wilkinson sealed his victory in the British best all-rounder time trial competition when he clocked 1hr 37min 26sec in yesterday's Mid Oxon CRT 50-mile event to shatter Graeme Obree's three-year-old British record by 1min 35sec.
Chris Boardman teamed up with Germany's Uwe Peschel to win the Telekom Grand Prix time-trial by more than two minutes in Karlsruhe yesterday. They covered the 49-mile course in one hour, 36min, 35sec, beating the Germans Olaf Ludwig and Rolf Aldag over seven laps. Third place went to the Tour de France winner, Bjarne Riis of Denmark, and Jan Ullrich, of Germany, who was second in the Tour. They were a second slower than Ludwig and Aldag, who recorded 1:38.40.
