Taibu sees bright future for Zimbabwe
Tatenda Taibu has vowed Zimbabwe will be a different proposition when they return to England in 2008.
The current side were dubbed the worst touring Test side ever when they arrived 10 weeks ago and struggled to alter opinion in two heavy innings defeats in the Test series.
The wicketkeeper's progress, however, and that of his fellow township cricketing graduate, Stuart Matsikinyeri, bodes well for the future.
"At the moment we are playing without pressure, we know we are going to lose some games... but we know we can win games when we play really well," said Taibu, whose side finish their commitments in England with the final NatWest round-robin contest against South Africa tomorrow.
"But in three or four years when everyone has had a good feel of international cricket and believes in themselves more we will become a different side altogether. For the better."
