Your support makes all the difference.The NatWest T20 Blast returns to Lord’s later this month to kick-start the summer’s cricket programme, fresh off the heels of England’s final Test match against Sri Lanka, and Game of Thrones star Charles Dance cannot wait.
The actor is so excited that he’s already taken to the ‘Home of Cricket to take viewers on a tour of the famous ground, which plays host to Middlesex’s T20 match against Susses Sharks on Thursday 16 June.
But perhaps more in line with the grace and tranquil of Test cricket, it appears Dance is yet to discover what T20 is all about. With bright colours, energised fans, mascots and plenty more of the T20 features starring in the video, it appears Lord’s is ready to go for another season of T20 action that will see Thursday nights transformed in north-west London.
Throughout June and July, Lord’s will host four matches in the NatWest T20 Blast, and the man otherwise known as Lord Tywin Lannister has once again lent his voice to the sporting world, having delivered a rousing team talk ahead of last year’s Rugby World Cup.
The contrast of Lord’s and T20 cricket was not lost on Dance, but after spending the day there, he confirmed that any fans attending one of the matches will be in for “a truly unique NatWest T20 Blast experience.
