Ashes 2019: Moeen Ali dropped as England name 12-man squad for second Test with Jofra Archer set for debut
James Anderson and Olly Stone both miss out with injury

Moeen Ali has been left out of England’s 12-man squad for the second Ashes Test.
Somerset left-arm spinner Jack Leach has been preferred to Ali, while Jofra Archer is in line for his England Test debut with James Anderson injured.
Olly Stone also drops out of the squad after his own injury.
Ali remains the leading wicket-taker in Test cricket in the last 12 months but has endured a prolonged spell of poor form this summer with both bat and ball.
Leach, who was man of the match against Ireland in his last England outing after an excellent 92 made as nightwatchman, has played five Tests previously.
Joe Denly and Jason Roy retain their places in the top order, while Jonny Bairstow has seen off the challenge of Ben Foakes and will again take the wicketkeeping gloves.
The inclusion of Archer comes as no surprise after his remarkable World Cup and superb first-class returns for Sussex in recent seasons.
The Barbados-born quick bowler proved his fitness in a Second Eleven fixture this week, taking six for 27 and hitting a 100 in the first innings.
He is in line for a Test debut at the ground where he secured England’s World Cup triumph less than a month ago.
The squad will convene on Sunday, with the second Ashes Test beginning at Lord’s on August 14.
Meanwhile, leg-spinner Adil Rashid has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a chronic shoulder injury.
