India 340-3 v Zimbabwe

VINOD KAMBLI fluently struck his second consecutive Test century to put India in charge in New Delhi yesterday on the opening day of their one-off match against Zimbabwe.

Kambli, who made a double century against England last month in the final Test in Bombay, was dropped once on his way to an unbeaten 176 to help India to 340 for 3 at the close.
