India cruised to a comfortable six-wicket win over Sri Lanka to take the Singer World Series Cup in a rain-reduced final in Colombo yesterday. After dismissing Sri Lanka for 98 for nine in the allotted 25 overs, Navjot Sidhu and the Indian captain, Mohammad Azharuddin, shared a match-winning 71-run stand off just 85 balls.
