Vasyl Lomachenko's devastating body shots proved the difference as the Ukrainian outclassed Luke Campbell on his way to defending his world lightweight titles.

The Hull fighter produced a meticulous game plan behind his jab, but was eventually ground down by the onslaught of shots down low, leaving him on the canvas in the 11th round.

He valiantly beat the count and saw out another storm in the 12th to go the distance.

But Lomachenko moves closer to supremacy and capturing the remaining lightweight belt, the IBF, which is held by Richard Commey and who is expected to face Lomachenko is he can successfully defend it against Teofimo Lopez.

Campbell will hope to come again, falling short in his second attempt to capture world honours to go with his Olympic gold.
