Your support makes all the difference. The time is almost upon us as hall-of-fame Filipino Manny Pacquiao returns to Las Vegas to take on Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand on 19 January on ITV4.
Pacquaio, who made his debut almost 24 years ago, will be defending his WBA world welterweight title in the 70th fight of his professional career.
It’s a battle between an eight-division world champion and a four-division world champion, although Broner, despite garnering multiple accolades, has wasted the best of his career due to antics and distractions outside of the ring.
Pacquiao scored his first knockout in nine years last summer against Lucas Matthyse, after returning from a shock defeat to Australia’s Jeff Horn, while Broner drew to former world champion Jessie Vargas.
Floyd Mayweather, Broner’s former mentor, will be ringside for the bout with a potential money-spinning rematch against Pacquiao later in the year being mooted.
