Timberwolves given shorts shrift
The Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team were fined $25,000 and five of their players were fined $2,500 apiece by the NBA for wearing oversized shorts, the league has announced. The players fined for disobeying the NBA's dress code were the All-Star forward Kevin Garnett, the centre Clifford Rozier and the guards Stephon Marbury, Chris Carr and Doug West.
