Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The conventional wheelbarrow puts the cart in front of the horse. That concept is rejected by the Trailerbarrow, which is designed to be pulled. This award-winning trundler is also unusual for having two wheels - giving better stability - and one handle, as opposed to one wheel and two handles.

There are three versions to choose from, all with sensibly shaped bodies of tough, green plastic. Suggested retail prices range from £73.95 for the Model 420A, which has six-ply tyres and a towbar. Important differences, apart from size and price, include the basic Model 190 - intended for small gardens - which has 3-inch-wide solid wheels rather than pneumatic tyres. Load capacities range from 6.7 cubic feet to 14.1 cubic feet, or considerably more if the optional clip-on extension sides are used. The 190's extension bumps the price up by £39.95.

As for weight, the biggest Trailerbarrow can transport as much as 3.0 cwt or 150kg.

The Model 190 was easily assembled in a few minutes with just a spanner and screwdriver. Pulling a load was much easier than pushing: it is closer to carrying a weight on your back than on your chest.
