ANKARA (AFP) - Turkish commandos destroyed 10 underground refuges used by Turkish-Kurdish rebels based in northern Iraq in a dawn raid, the Ankara news agency said. Ten commando units stormed the Kurdish camp near Hakourk, across the Turkey-Iraq border from the south-east Turkish town of Hakkari.
