Madrid - The Spanish Prime Minister, Felipe Gonzalez, accepted the resignations of his deputy, Narcis Serra, and the Defence Minister, Julian Garcia Vargas, over a phone-tapping scandal. The country's secret service was alleged to have listened in to the conversations of several important figures, including those of King Juan Carlos. AF
