Sobhraj bailed after 19 years

New Delhi - Charles Sobhraj, accused of blazing a bloody trail across Asia, will post bail next week and leave the prison where he has spent 19 years. An official said Sobhraj has been eligible for bail for some time, but preferred to remain behind bars until a 20-year statute of limitations expired on a Thai arrest warrant. He was convicted of murdering two French nationals in India and has been accused of 20 murders. AFP
