Prosecutors formally sought the arrest of a former Japanese construction minister on bribery charges, AP reports from Tokyo. Kishiro Nakamura is suspected of taking 10m yen (dollars 64,000) to pressure anti-monopoly officials to drop a bid-rigging complaint against a construction firm.
