Your support makes all the difference.ROME (Reuter) - The Pope was in slight pain but doing well yesterday, two days after an operation to remove a large benign tumour from his colon.
Cardiologist Attilio Maseri said the Pope, 72 - who had a tumour the size of an orange removed from his colon on Wednesday morning - had a slight fever on Thursday night but it had passed by yesterday
morning.
The Pope, who also had his gall bladder removed when it was found to contain stones, was suffering from normal post-operative pain, according to Vatican sources.
