Mrs Mitterrand attacks Indonesia
Danielle Mitterrand, head of the human rights group France Libertes and the wife of the French President, denounced Indonesia's moves to force the Philippines government into barring her from a banned conference on East Timor, AFP reports from Paris. Indonesia had put 'tyrannical pressure on us and on the Philippines government to stop me from going to this meeting,' said Mrs Mitterrand.
