Mission accomplished
Five astronauts returned to Earth aboard the space shuttle Columbia yesterday, safely landing in Florida after a 13-day science and technology research mission, Reuter reports from Cape Canaveral. The four men and one woman on board had a diverse schedule of secondary assignments while automated furnaces and sensors carried out 11 major materials experiments in the open cargo bay.
