Jordan arrests 'would-be killers'
Jordan's security forces said they had arrested several men who were plotting to kill 'personalities', ambush police patrols and bomb Western-style businesses, including cinemas and night clubs, Reuter reports from Amman.
The Interior Minister, Salameh Hammad, said the men, belonging to a group which he would not identify, planned to attack police patrols, seize their weapons and use them in operations including bank robberies.
