The daughter of a Somali princess will challenge the granddaughter of Benito Mussolini for a seat in parliament in elections next month, Reuter reports from Rome. The battle in Naples will be between the anti-racist Dacia Valent and the neo-fascist Alessandra Mussolini. Ms Valent was catapulted from obscurity as a policewoman in Sicily to a seat in the European Parliament in 1989 on a left-wing ticket after she was racially insulted and attacked. She will run for a 'Rainbow Coalition for Civil Rights'.
