Israeli and PLO negotiators met yesterday to conclude the plan for Palestinian self-rule in the Gaza Strip and Jericho, AP reports from Cairo.
Both sides expressed confidence they could settle the remaining disputes before tomorrow night, when the PLO leader, Yasser Arafat, and the Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, are to meet before the expected signing of an agreement the next day. The two sides have been negotiating for more than six months to implement the accord.
