Los Angeles (AFP) - Comic actor George Burns was in intensive care at a Los Angeles hospital after surgery to drain fluid from his brain following a fall. Burns, 98, went through the surgery well and was expected to remain for about a week at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The actor, who won an Academy Award in 1975 for his role in The Sunshine Boys, fell in a bathtub at his home in Las Vegas in July.
