The former Soviet republic of Georgia yesterday signed up for Nato's new Partnership for Peace programme for its former Warsaw Pact foes, becoming the 13th nation to do so, AP reports from Brussels. The Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister, Alexander Chikvaidze, said: 'A small country doesn't have the right to make big mistakes. Being with Nato, I think we will avoid mistakes in the future.'
