Four die and 19 wounded as Serbs shell Sarajevo

Serbian gunners slammed shells into central Sarajevo yesterday, killing four people and wounding 19, of whom 17 were seriously hurt, Reuter reports from Sarajevo.

One shell hit a market near the Olympic stadium, killing four people, and another, which Sarajevo radio said was a tank round, hit near Bosnian army headquarters. The shelling brought the death toll over the past week to 21, while 63 were treated for injuries.
