PEKING - A fire swept through a plastic toy factory in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, killing or injuring up to 100 people, AP reports. The China News Service said the factory manager was from Hong Kong, which borders Shenzhen; the cause of the fire was under investigation. Two months ago, blasts at a chemical depot in Shenzhen started fires that killed 15 people. A government inquiry put the blame on officials and police.
