ALGIERS (AP) - Two more members of Algeria's presidential guard have been charged in the June assassination of President Mohamed Boudiaf, a government source said yesterday.
Commander Abdelwahab Madjber, the director of presidential security, and Captain Sadek Sayah joined 21 others implicated in the 29 June shooting in Annaba, in eastern Algeria. Those held include the accused assassin, Lembarek Boumaref, a second lieutenant who was also a member of the elite presidential guard.
