CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment travellers fled Istanbul airport after hearing gunshots and witnessing a huge explosion .
The video, taken behind an information desk in the arrival hall, shows members of the public in a state of confusion before they all start running in one direction. Moments later, a huge explosion can be seen, the force of which knocks over some of the fleeing travellers.
Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said so far all indications pointed to an Isis cell being behind the attack. He said the attackers arrived at the airport in a taxi, and they were able to launch the attack without going through security checks.

At least 41 people have been killed as well as three suicide bombers, but a government official said that figure could rise to nearly 50.
The blast is the latest in a series of suicide attacks in Turkey – the deadliest took place in October 2015 when twin suicide bombings hit a peace rally outside Ankara’s train station, killing 102 people.
